On my trip to Florence to study Latin with Calder Classics, we go to churches, gardens, and museums in the morning and then study Latin in the afternoon. On these morning excursions, we often see many paintings and sculptures related to Greek and Roman mythology, and in the afternoon while translating Latin we read passages that also talk about Greek and Roman mythology.
This direct correlation shows how important Greek and Roman mythology was, and still is, to the people of Italy.
