Today after going to the Palacio Vecchio, Florence's old palace that functions both as a government building and museum, the Calder Classics team went to an outstanding sandwich shop. There we ordered classic Italian sandwiches, which of course were extremely tasty! Above is a picture of Gabby, Sarah, and me at the sandwich shop. Following this Sarah, Beth, and I decided to go to the Duomo before leaving Florence for part two of our Italian adventure, which is in Rome. There we went inside of the church and fortunately the line shrunk quickly. Here is a picture of the building's interior:
Following this we decided to climb to the top. And after many flights of stairs we made it to the top and got the best view of Firenze (Florence)!
