The Baths of Caracalla...
Our 'Photo of the Week' winner this week is Jeff Calder, who took this stunning photo of the Baths of Caracalla. These enormous ancient Roman public baths were the largest of their time (later, second only to the Baths of Diocletian), built in Rome between AD 211 and 217 during the reign of the Emperor Caracalla. The site has continued to be a source of architectural inspiration and influenced the design of the original Pennsylvania Station in New York City in 1910.
Your photo could be featured here too! Submit your best photo of anything Classics related here! Every week we will select a photo from your submissions and feature it as our 'Photo of the Week.' Many thanks to Jeff Calder for sharing his beautiful image.
